Q. Why is this mod called "Super Weapons Mod"? A. It is called super weapons because each house has a special unit that has been made to be very expensive, take a lot of time to build, but their special abilities are even better then they were. For Atreides, the Sonic Tank, which now has much more life, and more damage. The Harkonnen get the Devastator buffed up with super high damage and lots, and we mean LOTS of life, one very strong unit. The Ordos, however, are different, they do not get power but rather the ability to take command of any unit they please with the Deviator, units are under Ordos command forever after deviation. So you see, these buffed-up units are considered Super Weapons. Hence the name "Super Weapons Mod."
Q. Is it possible to play this mod online? If so, how is it done? A. Yes, it is possible for this mod to be played online. In fact, it was designed for online play. In order for you to play this mod online with your friends, they must all have the exact same patch installed.
Q. When I play the mod offline, it always ends up freezing the game and then it closes. Is there a fix to this or is it normal? A. It is totally normal. This has been recently tested, and it does crash after around 15 minutes into gameplay. This means that the mod can only be used for online play.
Q. Why are the Devastator, Deviator, and Sonic Tank chosen as the super weapons over any other units? A. They have been chosen because they are unique to each side with unique abilities no other unit has. The Devastator has immense damage and can fire two different types of weaponry, no other Harkonnen unit has that. Deviator has the ability to deviate or take control of units. No other Ordos unit can do this. The Sonic Tank has a sonic weapon, no other Atreides unit has this. Therefore, all super weapons have special abilities compared to any other unit.
